This replica of the 15th Century Cluny Longsword has a blade forged from EN45 high carbon steel with a tapered cut-and-thrust profile. The crossguard and pommel are steel and the guard chape is leather over a wood form. The long and tapered grip has a core of wood and it is overlaid in leather cordage and completed with bands of knotted leather.

\nThe wood-core scabbard is overlaid in tight and stitched leather and finished with a steel chape tip. With its tapered blade and counterweight pommel, this longsword is both agile and responsive.

\nThis sword is based on an original 15th century sword, now kept within the collection of the National Museum of Medieval Art (the Cluny Museum) in Paris.
