Etched Sword of Saint Maurice – Stage Combat Version
The stage and sport combat version of the Sword of St. Maurice is a durably constructed sword intended for blade-on-blade contact. The thick blade is EN45 high carbon steel and is constructed with thickened edges. The blade is etched in the fuller on both sides.

\nThe pommel and crossguard are mild steel and the grip is wood overlaid with leather. The blade is stoutly fitted to the hilt with a thick tang peened over the pommel.

\nThe scabbard has a core of wood and an outer wrap of tightened leather. It is finished with a protective steel tip chape and a wooden suspension loop.
