Greek Kopis with Wood Grip – Deepeeka
This swift-striking Greek Kopis has a blade forged into form from EN45 high carbon steel. A central raised ridge imparts some solidifying rigidity to the blade, which otherwise has a thin profile on both the spine and the edge which all combine to make a Kopis that is much quicker and more responsive than the more typical thick-spined examples. A widened blade tip gives it greater striking power in the main cutting portion of the blade.

\nThe guard is steel and the grip was completed by steel-riveted two halves of carved wood directly into the thick steel tang of the blade; an overall solid hilt construction.

\nThis Kopis comes with a well-crafted leather scabbard with stitched and riveted construction; it is integrated with a leather baldric strap so that the sword can be worn from the shoulder at the waist, as was the traditional manner for Greek warriors.
