This Knightly Arming Sword has a thick blade with blunt edges and is intended for the blade-on-blade contact of sport and stage combat. The blade is EN45 high carbon steel with a wide and long fuller. The hilt is steel with a wooden grip which is bound in tight leather cordage. The tang is solidly peened to the pommel for a robust hilt construction.

\nThe companion wood-core scabbard of the sword is overlaid in tightly fitted, stitched leather. It is finished with a knotted and integrated leather sword belt which can be adjusted to size with its antiqued brass buckle.
