This Norse Sword was built for the rigors of steel-on-steel sport and stage combat; the edges are thick and blunted both for safety and durability and the blade is stoutly mounted into the hilt with a robust peen over the pommel. The blade itself is tempered high carbon steel and the guard and pommel are finely-cast from antiqued brass. The wooden grip is tightly bound in leather and the sword is paired with a wooden scabbard with a tight binding of stitched leather and antiqued brass fittings to match the sword. A pair of integrated hanging rings allow for the sword to be worn (hangers, and sword belt not included).
