Roman Gallic ”G” Centurion Helm with Crest – 18 Gauge – Deepeeka
This Imperial Roman Gallic G Centurions Helm is crafted from 18 gauge steel; it is edged and embellished in brass. The cheekplates are hinged and are fitted with two rings to tie the included leather cord chin strap onto. This helmet comes with a horsehair crest and a transverse brass crest holder – both can be removed if desired. The crest can be tied down and secured through holes placed in the dome rivets for the brim. Leather cords to tie it down are included.

\nThe interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined – included with the helm is a padded cotton arming cap.

\nThe crest placement of this helm can be modified by swapping out the default crest holder for a front to back crest holder (not inlcuded – must be purchased separately). A front-to-back crest can be tied down and secured to the brass hook anchors riveted atop the helm.

\nThis helmet is replicated from an original that was found in the Rhine at Mainz-Weisenau.
