Roman Mainz Gladius with Brass Plated Scabbard – Deepeeka
This Roman Mainz Gladius has a blade which was forged from tempered EN45 high carbon steel which has been sturdily mounted into a hilt with a polished wooden guard and pommel and a grip of well-carved bone. Like originals the sword is quick on the strike and well suited to the cut and thrust alike. The sword is matched with a wooden scabbard which is overlaid in black leather and thoroughly embellished on its face with highly detailed embossed brass plating. A set of brass hanging rings allow for the scabbard to be worn on a Roman style baldric.
