Shrewsbury Longsword – Stage Combat Version
This version of the Shrewsbury Longsword is a Gothic styled longsword with a blade forged from high carbon steel; it has thick, blunted edges and a rounded tip to make it suitable for the rigors of stage and sport combat. The crossguard and pommel are crafted from steel and the wooden grip is tightly bound with a wrap of supple, spiralled leather in an ochre hue. \n \nThe sword is paired with a wood-core scabbard which is wrapped in matching leather and fitted with a steel chape and locket.
