
This Sikh Kirpan has a tempered blade of EN45 high carbon steel which is mounted into a hilt of cast brass; faux red gemstones for the eyes of the pommel lion complete this short saber. It comes with a scabbard of steel with a pair of steel hanging rings.

\nSikhism is the worlds fifth largest religion and its members are required to carry a Kirpan – a sword or dagger at all times. This companion blade to a Sikh is one of the five Articles of Faith which one bears as testimony to their devotion to Sikhism and the bearing of the Kripan blade reinforces the duty of a Sikh to protect the weak, to uphold justice and to live of life of compassion and generosity in service of humanity.
