This Masonic Ceremonial Sword has a hilt entirely plated in gold and a blade of mirror-polished high carbon steel with etched Masonic embellishment upon both sides. A tab of red felt is fitted to the base of the blade to protect the gold plating from contact with the scabbard – it can be removed if desired.

\nThis Freemason sword has a scabbard of deeply blued steel and a chape and locket which match the hilt in being plated with gold.
