Pompeii Gladius with Simple Scabbard
This Pompeii Gladius has a blade forged from high carbon steel; the hilt is crafted from carved from wood and polished. The fitted pommel nut is brass. A brass plate is fitted atop the guard. A removable felt tab protects this plate from contact with the scabbard – it can be easily removed if desired.

\nThe wood-core scabbard is overlaid in leather and bound in in a protective brass frame and completed with brass hanging rings.
